I find giving it a role, asking it to use all its resources to give me what I seek, and then at the end, I ask it, “What questions do you need me to answer before you begin your task?” I get a nice list, reply, and I get a very good response. Thanks for sharing!
That's a good point Lawrence. I'll often tell it "you're an expert researcher in xyz" or "you're an expert copywriter, skilled in writing sales pages for online courses for an audience of xyz" etc.
That said, I haven't split test the outputs of with/without roles - I might well do that to see the difference it makes.
