This one is interesting to me because it's similar to making mistakes, but not quite the same. With the travel blog I wrote for 10 years, I made SO many travel mistakes and blunders. I always wrote about them and they were almost always my most popular and widely read posts. People love seeing others screw up because then they can learn through it and not have to screw up themselves!

Absolutely. The “mistakes” email is another of my favourites. I tend to use a subject line like “My WORST sales meeting ever” which works well.

I reckon it’s related to schadenfreude. It’s not quite the same - but it’s a similar weird interest in things going wrong.
