"Dripping water hollows out stone, not through force but through persistence" - Ovid
One of the reasons I like email marketing so much is that it works like compound interest rather than a sudden windfall. It's persistence marketing.
Most other marketing methods have just one shot at winning a client. So you need to do them brilliantly to succeed.
With email you get to speak to clients again and again and again.
You don't have to cram everything into one message. You can parcel everything up into bite-sized, digestible chunks. You can gently build credibility and trust over time.
And each email you send doesn't need to be brilliant because there's always another email.
As long as each one is good, or even half-decent, you get to come back again next time.
And that means you don't need to be a copywriting expert or some kind of marketing genius to get email marketing to work for you. It's the perfect marketing method for "normal" people.
And yes, I know I've banged the drum about email marketing many times before. And yes, I'm biased because I run a course teaching people how to get good at it.
But seriously, if you're not harnessing email marketing you really ought to be.
